This position is aimed at High-school and University students, and Healthcare professionals interested in Public Health Impact.
Position: Cordoba Corps Intern
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Duration: 3-12 months

About Cordoba Corps:
Cordoba Corps is a flagship volunteer program of Cordoba Care Institute of Health
Management (CCI). Our mission is to forge powerful connections between academia,
students, and real-world public health challenges. We are dedicated to cultivating an
engaged and impact-driven community of volunteers, uniting CCI students, our student
fellows, and academic leaders. Cordoba Corps collaboration aims to create a culture of
sustainable learning growth and unwavering dedication to improve quality, accessibility
and affordability of public health.

My time Commitment:

Gold Badge: 3 months engagement and fulfillment of KPI’s
Diamond Badge: 6 months engagement and fulfillment of KPI’s
Platinum Badge: 12 months engagement and fulfillment of KPI’s

Cordoba Corps Recruits

Recruit Responsibilities:

As a Cordoba Corps Recuit (Intern), you will have the unique opportunity to immerse
yourself in the developing and emerging public health systems in Pakistan. This role is
designed for high-school students who are seeking to build their knowledge and
experiences and are passionate about making an impact for the next generation of
doctors and frontline allied health workers, in line with Cordoba Corps’ mission and
values.

My Accountabilities:
Digitalising the the curriculum for short trainings
Creating digital resources and content for short trainings
Shadowing the work of Cordoba Corps Fellows and Leaders
Facilitating and managing the mentorship activities CCI students and fellows:
Support the training and upskilling of allied health professionals by offering
mentorship, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to program participants.
Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities and engage
with local communities to understand their healthcare needs and provide support.
Connecting and outreach of CCI with hospitals, healthcare facilities and public health
officials
Acting as a Brand Ambassador for CCI and its affiliates

Cordoba Corps Fellows

Fellow Responsibilities:

As a Cordoba Corps Fellow, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to
developing and enhancing public health systems in Pakistan. This role is designed for
medical students (future doctors) and academics who are passionate about making a
positive impact on healthcare outcomes and are committed to the program’s mission.

My Accountabilities:
Creating and reviewing the curriculum for short trainings
Creating digital resources and content for short training
Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities and engage
with local communities to understand their healthcare needs and provide support.
Flexible part-time instruction or Assistant Instructor
Connecting and outreach of CCI with hospitals, healthcare facilities and public health
officials
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other Cordoba Corps volunteers,
staff members, and partner organizations to achieve program objectives.

About me:
Enrolled in a medical program or have a background in healthcare or related fields.
Passion for public health and a solid commitment to Cordoba Corps’ mission.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to different project requirements.

experienced doctors, academics and healthcare leaders who are knowledgeable,
experienced and are passionate about teaching the next generation of doctors and
frontline allied health workers, in line with Cordoba Corps’ mission and values.

My Accountabilities:

Creating digital resources and content for short trainings
Managing Cordoba Corps Fellows
Mentoring CCI students and fellows: Support the training and upskilling of allied
health professionals by offering mentorship, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to

Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities and engage
with local communities to understand their healthcare needs and provide support.
Flexible part-time instruction or Assistant Instructor
